Sony KDL46W4100 LCD TV Review

Summary: Television was all around great, service, delivery, price.. So thrilled with everything.

Pros: everything under that huge & beautiful 46 inch bezel

Cons: standard definition content still lacking and prevalent, need to move into all High Def soon!

After reading many Sony KDL46W4100 Reviews and comments online myself, I decided it was the right move and did some price checking online and via phone to the local BB / CC and such. The first thing that shocked me how much money I could actually save at Amazon.com and several other retailers on the internet, and after really having to fight myself on the decision, and making sure that online purchase and delivery would be a safe move, I placed an order for the Bravia W4100 46″ display.

I am glad I did make the decision to buy online, as with the savings I purchases a Sony BSP Blu-Ray player to compliment the W series full 1080P capabilities, something my old television (720p 40 incher) couldn’t so I had held back on the newer and amazing movie experience offered by BR & HDDVD.. literally makes upconverted dvds look bad. I had a little anxiety as I’m sure most do when getting a $2000 television shipped via online purchase, but happy to report like other Amazon Sony KDL-46W4100 reviews have stated, more then satisfactory and quite quick delivery via their white glove delivery service there (the guys were nice and helpful when dropping of the HDTV as well)

I have continually been picking my jaw up off the floor after watching something in 1080p, I really didn’t think the difference would be all that noticeable, and perhaps this isn’t all in the resolution but also in the contrast, 120Hz, Black level performance, etc… I really have no clue about all this technical stuff other KDL46W4100 reviewers are throwing around, so I won’t pretend to know what makes this television good or bad… All I know is that I am absolutely blown away with its sound and visual reproduction on HD content (SD content still sucks stupid 16:9 aspect) and couldn’t be more happy with the price, service, speed, and product quality I received. I would have never known to get this television if not for the bunches of other Reviewers out there giving their insights and comparisons, and would like to say thank you to all of those and leave my own report that this television has made me a very happy person!

Buy Again or choose another: I would absolutely buy this again, if I had spent more time maybe I would choose another, but this seemed to be recommended strongly as one of the best options for my situation by many expert reports and consumer sony kdl46w4100 reviews online and off.
