Summary: I love football. I love detail. I LOVE detailed football..
Pros: Detail, lots of it, huge screen, clear and sharp images
Cons: it may be TOO big ha ha, definitely need an external sound system to enjoy tv to fullest
Review of Sony Bravia KDL46XBR5 by Herman Garcia:
My wife knows how much I enjoy football, and how I always whine about referees making bad calls on where the ball was down, so she bought me an HDTV so I could enjoy my games in high definition without a single detail lost, and I’m sure to also enjoy her favorite soap opera stars, right down to their blackheads ha ha! At first I was a little doubtful that a little more detail would help me enjoy my football games more, but I couldn’t have been more mistaken! I could see everything and everyone, even down to the welding of the helmets! Every down, I could see where the tip of the football landed, maybe even better than the referees themselves! The Sony BRAVIA engine renders images clearly, smoothly, and beautifully in a full spectrum of color! This tv is truly amazing, and I suggest you buy one, make sure to read some sony bravia reviews for the model your looking at to make sure it has the right features you may want, and not extras that bring up the price, as the whole sony bravia lineup can be rather confusing now with like 6 different lineups in various letters available… I really am loving the XBR5 though for the prices its awesome for HD content and sports.
